Executive Board Meeting Minutes August 8, 2007 Secretary- Debbie Hallanger -Nominations: Board of Directors : Chris Denzler and Bobby Hawbaker Secretary: Debbie Hallanger Treasurer: Joan Inge 1st VP: Laura Carpenter 2nd VP: Bill Hallanger President: Allister MacKinnon Novice Rep: Nico Tomacelli Supersport Rep: Jake Frame Superbike Rep: Brad Gua Vintage Rep: Duncan Craick -Changes to the website were announced and agreed upon: --There is possibly an incorrect PO Box listed on a page. This needs to be researched and removed. --Hotline is not to be renewed. All references need to be removed. Treasurer- Joan Inge -Checking and savings balances reported. -Injured rider fund reported. -There are several delinquent Air fence customers. Decisions were made to help collect money owed to us. 1st VP- Andre Lister -Ads are being run in the Seattle Weekly in conjunction with Eastside Motorsports. They are having a contest for 4 tickets to this weekend. This includes free advertising for us. -Josh Ellingson is having a BBQ potluck, contact him for details. 2nd VP- Bill Hallanger -New curbing for bus stop is in. It will be about the same line as the old bus stop. -29 rule proposals currently in and posted to the website. -If you have sent in proposals and don't see them, please contact Bill. -We would like to see a new logo for next year's rulebook. If you have any ideas send them in to the E-Board. 3rd VP- Brent Hallstrom -New scoring team still needed. -New trophy presenter needed. -Vintage trophies are marked with SOTP to recognize the weekend. -The Rulebook states that season championship is determined by your top THREE CLASSES. -Vintage rider's from Portland are concerned about transponder shortages. We've been assured there will be plenty to go around, though novices will have a low priority for getting them. President- Allister MacKinnon -Exit of the bus stop has some asphalt coming up, but is out of the line. PR will not be able to repair it by this weekend. It will be covered up by the curbing. Novice Rep- Chris Denzler -Third classroom not scheduled, but is being considered because of increasing interest. AirFence- Chris Denzler -We now have a 30 foot trailer for AirFence that can hold 15 bails and will be in use for Andrenaline Freaks setup and teardown. -We are looking for someone to donate a truck to be used for AirFence setup/teardown. It needs to be able to pull a trailer, but does not need to pass emissions. It will be left at the track to save on fuel. Supersport Rep- Nico Tomacelli -A few riders are concerned about refunds pending. Treasurer assures she is working on them, and you will be contacted soon. Superbike Rep- Jeff Webber -Rider concerns voiced. Vintage Rep- Duncan Craick -Poster are out to some dealers. -More posters with Cafe Voloce will be posted. -Springsteen's bike is in transit from Sacramento. -Springsteen will be at Adrenaline Freaks on Friday. -Radio ads have been run by John Cuthbertson, your race day announcer. -Shaun McDonnald, reporter for a national magazine, will be present to write up an article about this weekend. -Same race day format as previous years.
